The Parking Arm Incident

So I'm sitting at work right now, and I get off in 13 minutes. I was reminiscing about that one time when I was walking - totally by myself - and I got nailed in the head by a parking garage arm. I mean, who does that? I seriously wish someone had been with me to see it happen. It cracks me up just thinking about it.

I've also come to realize that, yes, life is kind of ridiculous right now. In fact, it's going to stay ridiculous until at least after Halloween, at which point it may settle down a little bit. AS of right now, I'm basically not okay.

Plastic surgery. Americans get nose jobs, face lifts, boob jobs, cheek implants, you name it, we do it. Asians get eye westernization. Why do they want wrinkly eyelids?! I don't understand. Speaking of eyes, I sometimes wish mine were bigger. I feel like guys really like girls with HUGE eyes. We think they're after breast size, but really it's just the girth of our pupils that gets 'em going. Who knew?

The strange foreign guy who is always at the library has walked by twice this evening. The first time he had an untouched, severely melting McDonald's ice cream cone. This time he had the same ice cream cone, still not down to the cone. He walked by before at least 45 minutes ago. Crazy.

It's a good idea to put your phone number on your folders and notebooks. Along with your name, of course. What if you lost one of them? I did once. My name and number were not on it. I never found it. It sucked. Learn from my mistake, label your school supplies! Also, the cute guy sitting next to you or behind you in lecture might see it and learn your name (or even your number!). Maybe he'd call and hang out with you. Things like that never happen in real life. Why?
