Wal-itin
Claritin finally became an over-the-counter allergy medicine, and, as with any product on the shelf, there is a knock-off brand. In this case, it's Wal-itin. The Walgreens brand knock-off is absolutely no different from Claritin. I used Claritin back in the day when you needed a prescription for it, and I use Wal-itin now. Both products have the same effect.
What would you do if you found a cell phone on the ground when you were walking down the street? Clearly someone lost it, which sucks for them. I know what I would do. I would call the last number the person dialed and tell the person on the other end that I found this cell phone on the street and called the last person in the "dialed calls." Hopefully then the person who belonged to the cell phone would be able to get it back. I know if I lost my cell phone, that is what I would want someone to do if they found it.
So today in my J335 class we talked about news pertinent to our class. Adam showed us this video: http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/epic. I reccommend you watch it. Yes, it's extremist, however it's not that far-fetched. Everything talked about in it is actually a project, something in progress. Whether it will lead where the video predicts, I'm skeptical, but it's something to think about for sure. I'm kind of surprised it doesn't talk about TheFacebook at all. Google the "Google GRID". It comes up. That's a scary thought. It makes me think of this whole RFID tagging business and how Minority Report is becoming a reality. I'm not too sure how I feel about that.
I am going home this weekend. It will be nice to see the fam and my crazy uncle. I also can't wait to hang out with Britt. Dayton, Ohio: Almost Heaven. So, until next time....
